Wow, I really like it! Before I continue, let me say again: these clothes are really good designed!
The only "problem" is that I'm liking it as a redesign of Cassie Sandsmark aka Wonder Girl (she used to wear a short black wig, after all ) or even as a re-do of Donna Troy. As such, I think it's really grate, youthful and casual yet daring and simply good looking! For a Diana redesign, however, I don't really dig it. And it's not that I don't like the idea of more casual Wonder Woman, I actually loved the outfit Jim Lee gave her short before the reboot. But here the costume as a whole lacks small details to make her feel at least a little more regal. There's also too little of her iconic outfit elements even for a reimagining IMHO. It looks rather like something that Rogue from the X-men: Evolution TV series would wear.
BUT like I said before, as a costume for a Wonder Girl, it's amazing and I adore it to the bits! I think I don't need to say that it's also really pretty as a drawing and that your anatomy, perspective, posing etc. is fantastic. Thanks for sharing!
thanks! all great points. If I were going to re-do it, I would try to be a lot closer to the more regal, powerful body type of Diana, like you mentioned. I did this right after the Jim Lee reluanch for a contest here at Deviant art, and I tried to imagine what her costume might really look like if she were raised in NY and had to assemble it from thrift shops and a sewing machine. thanks for the thoughts!
